About
I’m a Design Researcher with a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Melbourne. My research explores how designers interact with AI-powered creativity support tools, sitting at the intersection of creativity and technology.
I’ve worked as both a university lecturer and a UX designer. This gives me a versatile skill set: academic rigour paired with hands-on craft in design thinking, user research, and human-centred design.
I love inspiring design students in Sri Lanka and beyond, helping them grow into creative, technically capable designers and researchers.
The music, drawing, writing, hiking and photography aren't a side project. They are where I feel what creative work is like from the inside, and that keeps my research and my design grounded in real practice.
